The Affirmation Experiment

Be the Affirmation.

Welcome to

The Affirmation Experiment

Perhaps you found us through a few words that caught your attention.
Something that made you smile, pause, or wonder.
The Affirmation Experiment is a place to explore the words we encounter and the meanings we give them.
Take what resonates and discover what the words mean to you.

There is room for all of it.

“Be the affirmation.”

Stay close to the words that notice you.

Holding an affirmation is not the same as forcing yourself to believe it. It is a practice of staying near the words long enough to notice what they stir, soften, challenge, or reveal.

I deserve to thrive.

I trust my voice.

This path belongs to me.

I am healing at my own pace.

Today I choose ease.

The Affirmation Conversation

Have you ever stopped to think about the words you tell yourself?

Some thoughts come and go. Others stay with us. They become familiar ways of seeing ourselves, other people, and the world around us.
An affirmation is often thought of as something positive we say to ourselves, over and over until we believe it. But what about the beliefs we carry without knowing it. These are the beliefs we grew up with, the words we were exposed to repeatedly, or the conclusions drawn from our own circumstances and experiences.
Not all of the ideas and beliefs we hold about ourselves are ours. And not everything we believe about ourselves needs to remain the same.
This is where the affirmation conversation begins.
This is the dialogue worth having, not just within ourselves, but with each other as well.

What words, thoughts, or beliefs have you been carrying?

What happens when an affirmation doesn’t quite match what you believe?

There may be a gap between the words and what feels true right now.

Whatever you notice is welcome here.

Room For

Your Words

Create your own affirmation.

Have you ever tried writing your own affirmations?

There is no special way to begin. Start with something you would like to remind yourself of. It could be something you already believe, something you are learning, or even a thought you would like to give just a little more attention to.

For example, you could write:

“I am allowed to take my time.”

That is an affirmation.

Just a few words that you can return to whenever you like.

Take a moment.

What would you like to say in your own words?

As life unfolds, you may return to words that are familiar.
Perhaps today, a thought that once felt distant may feel different today.
A few simple words might offer an unexpected smile, a memory resurfaced, or open the door to some worthwhile conversation.

This is... the Affirmation Experiment.

More than the words themselves, how we experience them, and what we can discover about ourselves when we choose to hold them a little closer.
